About Us
Little Urchins is a relatively new company which has been going for over a year
The company comprises of myself Michelle Pearson working around my two young children (with lots of help from my husband of course!)
The aim of Little Urchins is to provide a wide choice of quality nursery products for you to choose from at competitive prices.!!
To do this a lot of products are bought when sold and sent direct from the suppliers to your door.
This sometimes does cause problems with delays if the item is out of stock but you are informed of these delays as soon as I know.
I aim to keep the web site up to date on a day to day basis, but I am only able to check suppliers product availability on a weekly basis. Some products I am unable to check availability on a regular basis but please free to contact me prior to ordering to find out how long the products are likely to take.
Some great news as Little Urchins grows more services become available. We can now accept card payments over the telephone for those who do not like to pay over the internet

Making A Purchase
Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our store, and add any items that you wish to buy into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on 'Checkout' and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to complete the order.
We accept debit/credit card payment. If you are shopping from North America or anywhere else, place your order and your credit card company will convert the transaction to US Dollars or your own currency.
We accept Visa and Mastercard. We do not charge for any item until it is ready to ship. Backordered items are not charged until they are shipped. You may send your credit card information via phone, fax, snail mail or over the Internet.
When confirmation of order is received, this is to indicate that we have received your order. It does not indicate that a contract exists between us. We will indicate acceptance of your order, and hence a contract between us, when we send you an invoice. We have included this term to protect us in the case that a mistake has been made in pricing, we have inadvertently under-priced goods, or we are no longer able to supply a particular product for some reason. In the case of a change of price, we will always contact you first to ensure that the price is acceptable.

Shipping And Handling
Postage Services used are royal Mail 1 st Class, Royal Mail Standard Parcel and Buisness Post Next Day Delivery.
If you have not received your order within 1 week of being notified that it has been dispatched then please let eme know, it is a possibleit has been lost in transit.
Larger items such as cots, pushchairs etc are deliver via Business post or direct from the supplier, if you wish a specific date fior delivery then please e-mail me to let me know when.
Postal insurance is not includeed unless stated, if you wish to have your delivery insured then please e-mail me to let me know.All items are availble for postage in the United Kingdom.
Small items up to a total weight of 2kg are also available be be delivered world wide
Postage costs for larger items tends to exceed the cost of the order itself and therefore is not available on the web site. If you would like a quote for an order weighing more than 2 kg then e-mail me and I will provide a quote.

Little Urchins aims to dispatch all orders with 5 workings days unless otherwise stated. I f there is going to be any delays then youw ill be contacted immediatley.

If your item is not in stock, we will back order for you. You will always be emailed with the option to cancel your order if you would rather not wait.

For orders made from the UK or the European Union, 17.5% VAT is added. All other orders are VAT free.

Returns Policy
Little Urchins will do it's utmost for your transaction to run smoothly with no problems and that you will be 100% satisfied with your purchase
All customer have 7 days home approval, this is where you can see if the product you have bought is suitable for you or whether there is any problems/faults with it.
Please contact me within 7 days of you receiving the item if it is faulty or not suitable. You will then have a further 7 days to post it back to Little Urchins.
All faulty purchases must be returned with your personal details and the details of the problems/faults that the item has and all original packaging. Little urchins will then either replace or repair the item as quickly as poosibleat no extra cost to you.. All return postage will be reimbursed immediately.
All unsuitable purchases must be returned with your personal details and all original packaging. A full refund for the item will be given excluding any postage costs incurred.
This does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.
